Employment

The project, if developed, is expected to generate approximately 130 direct jobs during construction and around 230 indirect supply chain jobs. In addition, it will employ approximately 10 full-time staff during the operation and maintenance phase (expected to be 25 years) and around 25 medium-term contract jobs during any major maintenance activities.

Employment benefits will extend through the local supply chains such as: fuel supply, vehicle servicing, uniform suppliers, hotels/motels, B&B’s, cafés, pubs, catering and cleaning companies, tradespersons, tool and equipment suppliers and many other businesses.
